Happy Saturday! I’m back with another Taylor’s Version playlist. This is my go to hype/gym/workout playlist all featuring Taylor. Naturally, I would love to just link the entire Reputation album, but I mixed it up with some of my other favorite Taylor pump up songs. There’s nothing quite like the anger of a breakup, the fury of him cheating, or not owing men shit(if a man talks shit then I owe him nothing – I did Something Bad)to make you wanna run five miles.

Should’ve Said No is a classic song that I also love to scream in the car. It works just as well to blast on my airpods while I do the stair climber. Picture To Burn is another Debut song that doubles as a scream in the car and a run on the treadmill song. The same goes for my two Speak Now picks, Mean and Better than Revenge. I remember when I used to listen to Better than Revenge on repeat when I first discovered it before I went to the Reputation tour a few years ago.
We enter the Red Era (Taylor’s Version) with two of the most popular breakup songs of all time- I Knew You Were Trouble and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. Seriously, even if you aren’t a Taylor Swift fanatic you definitely know these two catchy radio songs from Taylor’s iconic switch from a country to a pop artist. Also in her pop era I selected Blank Space from 1989. Something about this song (and music video) makes you want to slash his tires or go insane on the bike in a spin class.
REPUTATION PERIOD. I was so tempted to literally just put this whole album and leave it at that. However I chose five of the most angsty songs that elevate my energy. Seeing Ready For It in concert is something I’ll never forget. I Did Something Bad is just absolutly amazing. Another song I live for screaming in the car and for listening to while I run on the treadmill. This is a song I honestly sometimes listen to on repeat. Don’t Blame Me reminds me of our preseason this year because the team used to listen to it all the time. Look What You Made Me Do and This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things make me fired up as if Kanye had also personally offended me and tried to take an award away from me or claim he’s the reason for my fame.
The last two from Lover and Evermore are two other songs that get me amped. Cruel Summer was a car screamer on repeat this summer. No Body, No Crime is one of my favorites from Evermore.
Whether you go for long walks around campus, frequently hike, run on the treadmill, or lift this playlist will make your workout 100x better. There’s nothing like Swiftie rage to fuel your soul. Seriously, sometimes I feel like I know Taylor. Maybe we all just have a lot of the same experiences that we can unite under. Shoutout to Taylor for verbalizing these things for us. Go get your gains this weekend!!!
Xoxo,
Hannahlane
