Nature’s Ozempic- 3 Easy Drinks for Weight Loss

As we enter the midst of summer I’ve been seeing lots of social media videos about rapid weight loss. Weight can be a sensitive and a serious topic and I would never endorse taking Ozempic for reasons other than what it is prescribed. I also would never endorse unhealthy diets, purging, or forcing weight loss. However, throughout my research I have discovered three easy, simple, and healthy drinks that can help support weight loss, digestion, and physical health. I am not saying that these drinks will make you drop twenty pounds rapidly, but I am saying that they will help your digestion and stomach health!

Ice Water with Lemon!

A classic!!! You cannot go wrong with a nice cold glass of water with lemon slices floating inside. Lemons are full of antioxidants and Vitamin C. Drinking lemon water daily can enhance your daily water intake. It also provides health benefits like stimulating your metabolism, aiding your skin appearance, and can help improve your immune system.

Green Tea

Green tea is truly nature’s Ozempic! I love having a nice mug of green tea before bed. My favorite green tea is the Organic Moroccan Mint Green Tea from Trader Joe’s. It is such a simple and easy drink that you can make every single day by either boiling water or even over ice as an iced tea with lemon. Green tea can improve your metabolism, help aid in burning fat faster, improve your oral health, and can even help with stress relief. If you’re looking to reduce bloating and slim your waist; incorporate green tea into your diet!!

Green Machine Health Smoothie

This is one of my favorite smoothies to make. I learned this recipe from a cafe that I used to work at in high school.

  • ½ Banana
  • Vanilla Protein Powder
  • Spirulina
  • ½ Avocado
  • Frozen Pineapple
  • Kale

This smoothie ends up tasting like a summery vanilla pineapple treat! Avocado doesn’t have a strong taste, but helps provide thickness in the consistency of the smoothie. The banana half also helps to create thickness. You can use a frozen or a regular banana and if you need a thicker consistency you can add more banana. The vanilla protein powder adds some vanilla flavor and will enhance your results post workout. Spirulina has lots of health benefits, adds coloration to the smoothie, and can also add to the consistency. Kale helps aid in digestion health and immune system health. Pineapple is sweet and delicious and can also help with inflammation, digestion, and internal gut health. The combination of all these ingredients creates a wicked healthy drink full of benefits and nutrients that still tastes like a tropical vacation. You can also add other frozen or solid fruits like mango, coconut, or strawberry.

Obviously a single drink isn’t going to remove your waist or make you go down a size. But, these drinks can make you feel healthier and enhance your metabolism and health which is medicine in itself!
