In honor of the cover release of Emily Henry’s new book, Great Big Beautiful Life, I decided to do my personal ranking of my top five favorite of her books. I have read six out of Henry’s ten available titles. It’s so thrilling picking up a fresh hardcover copy of her books each spring/summer when she releases a new read! The mosaic red and orange cover makes the classic writers fall in love novel look even more appealing! I cannot wait to read it after its release on April 22nd, 2025.

The coastal town setting in Maine combined with a broken up couple that has to put on the facade that they’re still together for their friends creates the perfect storm of beach read, lovers to enemies to lovers again, and lifelong college friends. Also the cover being a beautiful bright pink is an added bonus!

Two classic cases of writer’s block just a door apart. The tumultuous love story of polar opposite authors, Augustus Everett and January Andrews, challenge each other to try something new and write in the other person’s typical genre. Andrews shows Everett how love stories and their ideas are generated and Everett shows Andrews the research process on cults. However, their time spent together leads to more than just completed books…

This book will forever remind me of the most needed vacation in my entire lifetime I took to Florida. After two years of no contact, lifelong best friends Alex and Poppy, go on one final trip together to reconcile their friendship.

Every girl’s biggest fear, their boyfriend falling in love with their childhood best friend, comes to life in the depressing downfall of the relationship between Daphne and Peter. Now living alone, Daphne moves in with Peter’s new girlfriend’s ex boyfriend. They eventually form an alliance to attend their exes’ wedding…

An avid reader, Nora Stephens, takes a much needed sister’s trip to Sunshine Falls. When a recurring character from home keeps crossing her path, Stephens loses track of what she had originally gone on vacation for. Another amazing story of enemies to lovers with an air of writer and editor.
I have rated every single Emily Henry book that I have read five stars on Goodreads which was what made this ranking extremely difficult. Henry has such a beautiful, creative, and funny writing style that makes all her books challenging to put down. One of my favorite aspects is that the two main characters who are often opposites or enemies or close friends end up falling in love. I cannot wait for Great Big Beautiful Life in six months! 🙂 Shop these five books from my Amazon Storefront!
