6 Pumpkin Essentials from Trader Joe’s

After another brief, yet somewhat lengthy blog hiatus I am back for more content, more book reviews, more essential lists, and more articles to inspire you to live your healthiest life relative to self care. My health was struggling throughout the month of August so I took some time to restore it and lots of much needed R & R. Flash forward to September, we are already in full swing of classes (6 classes and a lab), a news reporting internship, sorority/ WIB responsibilities,and the general regular life activities. However, as we enter this fall (and my last semester of undergrad) I plan on maintaining my blog activity.

The fall is one of the best times of year with the changing leaves, comfy sweaters, Ugg boots (I have been a LOYAL Ugg fan since 2007), and all of the pumpkin flavored treats. All August I look forward to the release of pumpkin spice. Since Trader Joe’s is my go-to grocery store (and literally the best for their specialized food options) I have compiled a list of 6 must-try pumpkin products from their fall 2024 launch. 

  1. Pumpkin Overnight Oats 

A spiced twist of their traditional overnight oats, the pumpkin overnight oats are the perfect on-the-go breakfast with a mix of pumpkin puree and spices. 

  1. Pumpkin Body Scrub 

Trader Joe’s body and skincare products never fail! This body scrub smells like a pumpkin pie latte in a jar and effectively exfoliates your skin leaving you feeling soft and cleansed. Pair it with their pumpkin body butter to have the perfect fall day!

  1. Honey Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli 

I will be honest- I have not tried these yet but they sound like a spectacular dinner for a chilly fall night. This ravioli combines pumpkin, brown sugar, molasses, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese to create lovely orange ravioli squares. Adding this to my October dinner list! 

  1. Pumpkin Spiced Teeny Tiny Pretzels 

It would be a culture shock if Trader Joe’s didn’t introduce a specialty seasonal pretzel for pumpkin season. These make for the essential fall snack!

  1. Pumpkin Loaf

Pumpkin bread is a fall NECESSITY. There’s nothing quite like an iced coffee and a warm slice of pumpkin bread. Bring this Starbucks favorite home with you!

  1. Pumpkin Butter

Spread this on bagels, pretzels, in your iced coffee, or simply eat it plain with a spoon! It is just like pumpkin pie in a jar!!

After visiting Trader Joe’s (and spending way too much money) and scouring their website for all of their fall releases- I feel like the list of things I want to try is endless! It was a challenge to narrow this post down to six must haves.
